Denver Downs Corn Maze - The fall family festival will be open every Saturday and Sunday ( and some Fridays) from Sept. 25 until Oct. 31, and includes activities for all ages including hay rides, farm football, a hay barn with giant hay bale climbing.
The annual Corn Maze & Giant Pumpkin Patch is held at Denver Downs Farm, a Century Farm on Hwy. 76 one mile north of Interstate 85 in Anderson. Admission to the annual Corn Maze & Giant Pumpkin Patch is $10 per person. Children 24 months and under may enter at no charge. The festival is open Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 25 until Oct. 31, and the last three Fridays in October. Hours are: Saturdays 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.; Sundays 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.; and 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Oct. 15, Oct. 22 and Oct. 29.

Nov 5 and 6 Holiday Open House in the Village - Extended Friday hours for participating merchants - Stroll the streets and wander from shop to shop for great gift ideas, light refreshments, and holiday specials. Then relax at one of our local eateries for dinner.

Local artists and craft people will have booths set up in our barn yard. Split Creek Farm products will be available for sampling and purchasing. Bring your addresses and gift cards and let us handle your holiday shopping and shipping. Friends Food With A Flair will be selling lunch and snacks.

Parking is in a pasture, with a short walk to the barn.

Nov 13 Ashtabula - 19th Century Mourning Traditions Tour - Docents dressed in the various stages of mourning will guide visitors through the first floor of the house. Subjects covered during the tour include mourning etiquette, invitations and visitation, draping the house, the stages and dress of mourning, the wake, funeral food, post mortem photography, and consolation literature.
