Mount Lebanon Elementary School in Pendleton, South Carolina is one of the 15 semi-finalist nationwide in the Recipes for Healthy Kids Challenge. Their recipe is the Crunchy Hawaiian Chicken Wrap and I had the pleasure of tasting it yesterday. It is delicious. Of course, it did help that I was eating it in the beautiful Mount Lebanon Elementary School surrounded by the official Judges, dignitaries from our State Department of Education, Pendleton's honorable Mayor, and officials from the Anderson County School District 4 office. It was a sight to see and I felt honored to have been there to witness this special occasion of when the judges visited Mount Lebanon.
