Break the Summer Blues with an Exciting and Educational Day Camp!
As part of its educational mission, the Pendleton Historic Foundation is hosting a one day historical camp on Friday, June 24th from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The camp will be for children ages 8-11 at Ashtabula Historic House, and participants will be able to take part in many hands-on activities, including indigo dyeing, exploring agriculture, historic games and activities, and even learning how to make bricks by hand! During the day children will even have an opportunity to make and enjoy homemade ice cream from an antique machine. Reservations are required and space is limited to 30. Cost is just $30 for the entire day, which includes lunch, a handkerchief for dyeing, and ice cream.
